Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Review

The name is a mouth full lol. Anyways these little guys have similar packaging to Tarte's Lip Surgence and Clinique's Chubby Sticks. I don't have either of the two so I can't compare the product itself to Revlon's, but a few youtuber's and bloggers have comparisons that you can check out. Let me just start out by saying I love how convenient the packaging is, it's perfect to just throw in your purse and take it to go. The cap is secure enough to do that I haven't had a problem with the cap coming off at all. It also is a twist up that goes both up and down so you don't have to worry about it if you accidently wind it up to much you can just wind it back down. The product itself is amazing I have fallen in love with these and it's all I reach for lately. I only picked up two because honestly I wasn't expecting much from these and at the time there wasn't many reviews on this product yet. So I found a $2off coupon on coupons.com so I figured what the heck I'll try it out and these are the first two colors that caught my eye (Charm, and Cherish). So much to my surprise these are very moisturizing and the color payoff is great. Here are some swatches.

On Top (Charm): Soft nudey peach color. Although it would be catergorized as a nude for most people, it is still very opaque. I wouldn't say that this one is a stain although it has a good wear time for me, it doesn't leave a stain on my lips at all.

Bottom (Cherish): Nice wearable pink, thats the best way I could describe it. It isn't to bright nor is it to light for my skintone. It's just a perfect everyday pink shade. It is very opaque on my lips, and this one does leave a slight tint to my lips after it wears off. Here is a photo of my wearing "Cherish". I don't think this picture does it justice I def. think it is a little more vibrant in person.

Pros:
  1. Opaque
  2. long wearing
  3. glossy finish
  4. moisturizing
  5. doesn't dry my lips out
Cons:
  1. Kind of pricey for a drugstore brand
  2. I wouldn't necessarily say they stain the lips
Overall: I absolutely love these and can't wait to pick up more!!!!

Target Nail Polish Haul!!

So I took a trip to target the other day for some nail polish, and ended up finding all of the ones I went there for which almost never happens. Especially when they are hyped up on YouTube or blogs. So here is what I picked up.Four Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear and one Essie, don't they look gorgeous?!
From left to right: Sun Kissed, Mellow Yellow, Coral Reef, Golden-1, and A Crewed Interest.

Sun Kissed: Gorgeous bold orange. Perfect for the summer exactly what I was looking for. I am very impressed  with how opaque it was in one coat. Certainly didn't seem like a $2 nail polish to me. No glitter or shimmer at all. It has a nice shiny creamy finish without a topcoat.

Mellow Yellow: Nice bold yellow without being to bold like a highlighter yellow. Another nice color for the summer. This wasn't as opaque as the orange in one coat but definately one of the more pigmented yellows that I've seen in a while. I applied 2 coats and it was good to go.

Coral Reef: Of course the name "Coral" says it all, as we all know coral and summer go hand and hand lol. Of course that my opinion, but I'm sure many of you that would agree. This one was very pigmented like the orange polish in one coat. I love this color!

Golden-1: I bought this one to do nail art with the coral reef, but swatching it on it's own I see it would be gorgeous on it's own. It is an opaque gold with one coat but def. prefer 2 with this one. I know this might seem blah to some of you because it is just a typical gold you can get anytime but you can't really go wrong with this for $2 and how great it is for that price!

A Crewed Interest: I don't even know how to really describe this nail polish, it's different then anything I've seen in a while. I actually saw this on a Youtuber's nails and absolutely fell in love and had to have it. To my surprise they had it in stock of course I had to grab it. The best way I can describe this color is as a "mod" pinky peach something you might think of when you think of the "50's " era. This is an all around season color I will be using the helk out of this.
Here is just a little design I did w/ Coral Reef and Golden-1

Sorry for the poor pictures but I will work on that hope you enjoyed, Until next time <3
