Dupe Alert for Fall!!!!!

Hello my fellow beauty lovers! So here is a dupe that I just discovered, I don't know if anyone has mentioned this already but as far as I know I haven't seen anyone compare these two. So here I am to show you this exciting news with you guys. So today I went to target to pick up a few things for the house and of course had to stop by the beauty aisle because I saw "Sale" signs in the covergirl section. I had been wanting to try out their lipsticks because I don't own any so there I was contemplating what shade I should get and I decided to pick "Euphoria" up because it looked like a great fall color. I bring it home try it on and think to myself this looks alot like "Rebel" on the lips of course. Because as you can see in the tube they look different rebel looks for purple toned but on the lips and swatched on the hand they are very similar almost can't tell them apart. I even put half and half on my lips and asked if he could see a difference and he said it was a very very slight difference.

So as you can see by the swatches there is a very faint difference between the two but not to where you need to own both of them. I will also mention that when I had both shades on my lips that I did notice even though they were remarkably similar " Euphoria" looked a little duller then "Rebel" but other then that. I think this is a great dupe for "Rebel" in fact I was a little dissapointed when I discovered this today because I wanted a new fall shade not a shade I already owned lol. But it's great for any of you guys who want " Rebel" that don't own it yet and want a cheaper alternative.

Thanks xoxo

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Review

The name is a mouth full lol. Anyways these little guys have similar packaging to Tarte's Lip Surgence and Clinique's Chubby Sticks. I don't have either of the two so I can't compare the product itself to Revlon's, but a few youtuber's and bloggers have comparisons that you can check out. Let me just start out by saying I love how convenient the packaging is, it's perfect to just throw in your purse and take it to go. The cap is secure enough to do that I haven't had a problem with the cap coming off at all. It also is a twist up that goes both up and down so you don't have to worry about it if you accidently wind it up to much you can just wind it back down. The product itself is amazing I have fallen in love with these and it's all I reach for lately. I only picked up two because honestly I wasn't expecting much from these and at the time there wasn't many reviews on this product yet. So I found a $2off coupon on coupons.com so I figured what the heck I'll try it out and these are the first two colors that caught my eye (Charm, and Cherish). So much to my surprise these are very moisturizing and the color payoff is great. Here are some swatches.

On Top (Charm): Soft nudey peach color. Although it would be catergorized as a nude for most people, it is still very opaque. I wouldn't say that this one is a stain although it has a good wear time for me, it doesn't leave a stain on my lips at all.

Bottom (Cherish): Nice wearable pink, thats the best way I could describe it. It isn't to bright nor is it to light for my skintone. It's just a perfect everyday pink shade. It is very opaque on my lips, and this one does leave a slight tint to my lips after it wears off. Here is a photo of my wearing "Cherish". I don't think this picture does it justice I def. think it is a little more vibrant in person.

Pros:
  1. Opaque
  2. long wearing
  3. glossy finish
  4. moisturizing
  5. doesn't dry my lips out
Cons:
  1. Kind of pricey for a drugstore brand
  2. I wouldn't necessarily say they stain the lips
Overall: I absolutely love these and can't wait to pick up more!!!!

Target Nail Polish Haul!!

So I took a trip to target the other day for some nail polish, and ended up finding all of the ones I went there for which almost never happens. Especially when they are hyped up on YouTube or blogs. So here is what I picked up.Four Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear and one Essie, don't they look gorgeous?!
From left to right: Sun Kissed, Mellow Yellow, Coral Reef, Golden-1, and A Crewed Interest.

Sun Kissed: Gorgeous bold orange. Perfect for the summer exactly what I was looking for. I am very impressed  with how opaque it was in one coat. Certainly didn't seem like a $2 nail polish to me. No glitter or shimmer at all. It has a nice shiny creamy finish without a topcoat.

Mellow Yellow: Nice bold yellow without being to bold like a highlighter yellow. Another nice color for the summer. This wasn't as opaque as the orange in one coat but definately one of the more pigmented yellows that I've seen in a while. I applied 2 coats and it was good to go.

Coral Reef: Of course the name "Coral" says it all, as we all know coral and summer go hand and hand lol. Of course that my opinion, but I'm sure many of you that would agree. This one was very pigmented like the orange polish in one coat. I love this color!

Golden-1: I bought this one to do nail art with the coral reef, but swatching it on it's own I see it would be gorgeous on it's own. It is an opaque gold with one coat but def. prefer 2 with this one. I know this might seem blah to some of you because it is just a typical gold you can get anytime but you can't really go wrong with this for $2 and how great it is for that price!

A Crewed Interest: I don't even know how to really describe this nail polish, it's different then anything I've seen in a while. I actually saw this on a Youtuber's nails and absolutely fell in love and had to have it. To my surprise they had it in stock of course I had to grab it. The best way I can describe this color is as a "mod" pinky peach something you might think of when you think of the "50's " era. This is an all around season color I will be using the helk out of this.
Here is just a little design I did w/ Coral Reef and Golden-1

Sorry for the poor pictures but I will work on that hope you enjoyed, Until next time <3

M.A.C Hey Sailor Collection Haul!!!!

Hello dolls, so I'm back!!! I know, I know I really need to get better with this blogging. I really want to dedicate myself to this blog so I have a few post that I am already lining up, a few reviews and hauls etc. Ok so enough rambling lets get on to the exciting stuff right. I really haven't been getting into their collections since their holiday sets @ nordstrom. But I was actually anticipating this collection because I have to say I'm a So Cal girl I love me some summer everything about it the sun, the bright colors and most of all the summer M.A.C collections are the ones that I always get excited about. So onto the collection it was quite an extensive one they had 40 pieces in it which consisted of 4 lipsticks, 5 lipglasses, 3 pro longwear pencils, 5 eyeshadows, 2 bronzing powders, 2 pro longwear bronzers, 1 highlight powder, 2 blushes, 3 nail laquers, 2 body oils, 3 suntints, 3 Powerpoint eye pencils, 2 Pigments, 1 Brush, and last but not least 2 bags. From all this to choose from the only things I ordered online was:
  • 1 Lipstick (Sail La Vie)
  • 1 Suntint (Au Rose)
  • 1 Pro longwear lip pencil (Shore Leave)
  • 1 Powder Bronzer (Soft Sand)
  • 1 to the beach body oil (Man Rays)
I had my list ready to order and after seeing a few swatches things quickly started getting crossed of my list 1. because I really don't need that much stuff and 2. some things just weren't that unique or must haves in my opinion. Here are a few photos of the products I picked out along with my opinion and reviews enjoy :)

I chose Soft Sand because from the swatches I'd seen it looked like a lovely bronzer and I was in need of a new one since I haven't found that one that was perfect for me. I already owned Refined Golden and sold that one on my blog because it was just to dark for me and the other 2 pro longwear ones just didn't catch my eye "Sun Dipped" looked to red toned for my liking and "Nude on Board"  seemed to light. So my thoughts on this bronzer is it was surprisingly just what I thought it would be for me "perfect" thanks to all the ladies that swatched this and reviewed I didn't miss out on this gem. Oh and it does have a slight sheen but I don't find that it appears that way on my face.
"Sail La Vie" lipstick oh how I love you. Ok so this was I think I was most looking forward to it is the most beautiful intense lippie I own now. It is exactly how it is descrided an intense orange red shade. It has a nice consistency, for being a Satin I don't find this drying like I some of my other ones. I had seen a few bloggers swatching and comparing a few shades to this and "Hibiscus" from last years collection was one of them. Now I own "Hibiscus" and this is how intense I was hoping hibiscus would be but it is way more of sheerer and more of a pink/red/coral shade to me. In my opinion it doesn't even come close to this shade and I don't own anything like this so I am so glad that I picked this up. I love this lipstick and I think it suits my tan skin beautifully :).
This Pro Longwear lip pencil is the only one I picked out of the 3 because I didn't own anything like it and it was the most unique out of the 3. There was a red lip pencil and a nude one and I figured I could always get a red or nude anywhere. This shade is gorgeous for the summer, its hard for me to describe it but when I look at it, it makes me think of pink lemonade. It's a looks like an intense pink with yellow undertones, its described on the website as a light vibrant coral and I guess this looks like its described I just say pink because when I think of coral, orange is always mixed in the color and I don't see any orange in this in my opinion. One thing I did want to mention is that it is very close  to "Cut A Caper" lipstick from the "Tartan Tale" collection which I own and it goes great with this lipliner. I know that lipstick is was LE but I'm sure you can look on Temptalia.com to look some dupes up.
"Au Rose" was the only Suntint that I picked because it seemed like the most pigmented out of the 3. There was a hot pink looking one which I wanted as well and then there was a nude looking one. After some debating on whether to get the hot pink one "Abalone" or not I decided not to because after seeing swatches they are pretty sheer and I just didn't see a purpose on getting more then 1 so I picked the one that I wanted most. This has a sticky consistency, and has an spf scent to it as well, so if either one of those things bother you then this is not for you. It doesn't bother me so I definetly look forward to using this, this summer for a nice hint of color and pertecting my lips since like I mentioned it does have SPF in it.
And last but not least I picked up "Man Rays" which is the bronze one out of the 2. It is described on the website as a "glowing tan with multi dimensional shimmers" and again is exactly how it is described. The other one "Seaside" which is the more pink iridescent one was gorgeous to I was just going for the bronze look. I think "man rays" would look gorgeous on all skin tones because once it's rubbed in it just leaves your skin with a nice healthy glow with noticeable shimmers. But I did try to build this up and was able to build it up somewhat. It also has a nice consistency, it wasn't thick or runny it was perfect and there was no streaking when I blended it into my skin. I can't wait to use when I go to the beach!!!! If your debating between the two I honestly would say get what your going for because in my opinion they are both gorgeous and I believe they both suit all skin tones and they both are totally different so I couldn't even compare them.
Top Natural Sun light: from top to bottom " Soft Sand" bronzer, "Sail La Vie" lipstick, "Shore Leave" pro longwear lip pencil, "Au Rost" suntint, and "Man Rays" body oil.
Bottom photo Natural indoor low light:  Same order as listed above
Comparisons: I wanted to show you guys a comparison between " Soft Sand" and "Give me Sun" mineralize bronzer which is to the left of soft sand. As you can see they are nothing alike give me sun is more of a very noticeable orange undertone to it which soft sand doesn't at all. And I also swatched "Hibiscus" from last years surf collection and it has a noticable pink/coral/red color to it whereas "Sail la vie" is straight out intense red/orange. Hope these swatches helped!!! :)

Over all thoughts:  The whole collection was great but the and I'm hoping to get my hands on "Jaunty" the eyeshadow to serve as an allover wash on days I wear a bold lip or even my simple days. Thats the only other thing I want. Nothing else in this collection was unique enough or just things I would never wear so why waste $ on it right? The hightlighter "Crew" didn't look like anything special to me in fact I don't even know why they called it a "hightlighting" powder it clearly looks like a blush to me so I didn't bother with that and the other 2 blushes I want to check out in store to make sure I don't already own anything similar. Between the two I would have to say "Launch Away" is calling my name but I am fighting temptation. The brush also looked like a nice addition so I'll have to see it in person as well. But for the most part all the colorful eyeshadows and Power Point pencils and pigments are all out of my comfort zone there wasn't any colors that I would actually ever wear. As for the nail laquers I could never bring myself to spend $17 on a nail polish. This is honestly the first time that I loved every single thing that I purchased from a collection. So I hope this helped :)!!! Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.

In brighter outdoor lighting

I know this is a little late but I just wanted to share with you guys what I picked up from the collection, I got the Iced Delights Lip Bag/ Sultry and the 6 Snowglobe Eyeshadows/Warm.

Lip Bag Review:  I love the Iced Delights lip bag it is the most perfect MLBB shades. I think that each of the lip products that came in the bag perfectly compliment each other and they are universally flattering.

Snowglobe E/S Review: This is the first time in long time that I was actually impressed with all the colors in one palette. Usually when M.A.C comes out with a collection the E/S palettes are mediocre or just plain crappy. But this palette impressed me when I swatched in the store and I thought these were great holiday colors. I ended up wearing the Gealic Gold and Midnight Flurry on Christmas day for a gold look, and used the Winterscape and Magical mist on New Yr's Eve and put silver glitter on top of the silver just to give it that WOW factor :) it looked gorgeous. So needless to say this palette came in use for me. I also love the Patina and Buckwheat combo for an everyday kinda look.
